cable tray penetrations through openings treated with INTUMESCENT BRICKS “GLOBAL BLOCK” or TWO-COMPONENT FOAM “GLOBAL FOAM”
GB WRAP is a self-adhesive butyl-based intumescent plastic tape, solvent-free, with high strength and shrink resistance, for the treatment of cable tray penetrations within openings treated with the “GLOBAL BLOCK” INTUMESCENT BRICKS or the “GLOBAL FOAM” TWO-COMPONENT FOAM. The “GB-WRAP” TAPE must be installed on both sides of the wall, positioning a first strip at least 100 mm wide inside the cable tray with the adhesive side against the cables. The entire cable tray must then be wrapped over a width of at least 150 mm, taking care to overlap the joints of the tape by at least 45 mm.
