UNIPAN fibre-reinforced lightweight cement boards for the dry construction of partitions, ventilated façades and suspended ceilings, indoors and outdoors.
CEM is Global Building's range of UNIPAN fibre cement boards: the dry construction system for building partitions, wall linings, ventilated façades and suspended ceilings, in outdoor environments exposed to even persistent damp and frost and in indoor environments with high relative humidity and temperature.
UNIPAN boards are made of Portland cement and aggregates, with a double surface finish of glass-fibre mesh and polymer coating. They are non-combustible (Euroclass A1 reaction to fire to EN 13501-1), waterproof, frost-resistant and immune to mould and bacteria even in environments saturated with humidity and vapour. Certified configurations achieve performances of up to REI 180.
Compared with traditional construction techniques, UNIPAN dry construction offers faster building times — reducing labour and simplifying site logistics — and high performance: lighter weight for the same thickness leaves more room for insulation, resulting in better thermal and acoustic insulation, good fire behaviour and greater seismic resistance.
