- Characteristics
- ciclo misto intumescente con fondo PROTETTIVO a base acqua e di FINITURA trasparente a base solvente. Ideale per manufatti in legno o derivati, posti all’interno ove sia richiesto di mantenere a vista la venatura naturale del legno. Prodotto non idoneo ad applicazione su elementi in legno sollecitati meccanicamente. Il ciclo è applicabile a tutti i materiali legnosi con densità ≥337,5 kg/m3 per la classificazione B-s1,d0. Per la classificazione Classe 1 il ciclo è applicabile a tutti i materiali legnosi con esclusione di: - materiali impiallacciati con tranciati o sfogliati di legno mediante collanti a base di resine di tipo termoplastico; - assemblati a struttura cellulare o listellare, includenti cavità d’aria o riempite con materiali di natura eterogenea; come previsto dalla norma UNI 9796/1990. Il sistema intumescente è composto da: monocomponente a base acqua F62 CLASSE 1 PROTETTIVO e dalla finitura protettiva al solvente F62 CLASSE 1 FINITURA. Il componente "B" F62 CLASSE 1 FINITURA è un prodotto trasparente a base di resina. Per le caratteristiche intrinseche della resina può presentare lievi tonalità cromatiche, scarsamente percepibili su fondi in legno naturale e con tonalità medio scure, al contrario può diventare sensibilmente più evidenti quando il prodotto viene applicato su fondi bianchi o con tonalità particolarmente chiare. Col passare del tempo le tonalità cromatiche tendono a diventare più evidenti.
- Dilution
- F62 CLASSE 1 PROTETTIVO roller, brush 5÷10% by weight, airless/aircoat 0÷5% by weight with mains water, taking care to add it very slowly and checking that the temperature of the product and of the dilution water is not below +10°C. Alternatively, the temperature of F62 CLASSE 1 PROTETTIVO can be raised using a “bain-marie”. It is recommended to stir the product slowly both before and during use, so as to ensure a homogeneous consistency and avoid excessive air entrapment. F62 CLASSE 1 FINITURA ready to use. If necessary, dilute with 0÷5% by weight with white spirit.
- Tools
- Spray: airless or aircoat without filters with 0,029 - 0,035 inch nozzles (0,75 - 0,90 mm) and outlet pressure of 170-240 bar. Short-pile roller, brush. To improve the wettability of the wooden substrate and the levelling of the base coat, the substrate can be lightly moistened with a damp cloth.
- Application method
- Check that the wood is clean and free from grease or resin stains and that its moisture content is between 8 and 10%. The product is highly sensitive to humidity and may cause hazing. Do not apply at temperatures below +10°C, relative humidity above 65% or in fog or rain. If the product has been stored at low temperatures, bring it to at least +15°C. Tools can be cleaned with hot water for the PROTECTIVE coat and with white spirit or nitro thinner for the FINISH. Painted areas must not be handled with bare hands to avoid the possible formation of blotches.
