the protection for air diffusers “GB-AIR” is specifically designed to make it possible to insert ventilation and extraction points into REI accessible suspended ceilings, with the exclusion of membrane ceilings, guaranteeing their fire resistance, which would otherwise be compromised. It improves the thermal and acoustic insulation of the suspended ceiling, requires no maintenance and is easy to remove and reinstall during maintenance work. The protection for air diffusers “GB-AIR” is sized so as to cover a wide range of anemostats available on the market. It is made of a special silica-based fibre fabric and faced with an aluminium foil. For the protection of the flexible spiral supply/extraction duct, a dedicated GLOBAL COLLAR AIR collar is supplied, to be fitted on site. The protection for air diffusers “GB-AIR” allows a design unconstrained by the integrity requirement with regard to the fire resistance of a suspended ceiling into which ventilation points have been inserted. The low weight and flexibility of the product make it easy to install without overloading the suspended ceiling structure.
