external protection of combustible pipes
the “GLOBAL COLLAR PLUS C” universal collar is the only collar without fixing tabs, therefore guaranteeing minimal overall dimensions, and is protected by patent. It protects the penetration of combustible pipes in PVC, PE and PP, including bends and corner installations, up to an external diameter of 315 mm, with EI 120 fire resistance. The “GLOBAL COLLAR PLUS C” universal collar consists of several layers of intumescent wrap laid on a thin metal sheet, which wraps around the pipe forming an open angle and fixes the entire system to the substrate. “GLOBAL COLLAR PLUS C” is applied on the side exposed to fire and fixed to the plasterboard wall with phosphated self-drilling screws without the use of through threaded bars. For application on masonry walls, the use of turbo screws without plugs is recommended.
