PENETRATIONS OF COMBUSTIBLE PIPES

Supply and installation of OPEN FIRE COLLAR FOR COMBUSTIBLE PIPES “GLOBAL COLLAR PLUS C” without fixing tabs, with fire resistance up to EI 120 U/C certified on floor slabs, consisting of a metal shell of thin steel sheet, nominal section 40x30x0,5 mm, containing layers of graphite-based intumescent gasket, nominal section 40x2 mm each, in accordance with ETA 23/0843. Measure the diameter of the pipe to be protected and, depending on that diameter, cut the required quantity of wrap in the number of

suitable to contain the intumescent wrap (see table). Pre-form the metal band around the pipe and lay in place the wrap of the required length and number of layers. Fix the collar to the floor slab with turbo screws without the use of plugs. Before installing the collar, the remaining voids between the wall and the penetrating pipe may be filled with “GB-MT” sealant, or alternatively with dimensionally stable non-combustible material such as concrete, cement or gypsum mortar.
