F62 BASE

Description

F62 BASE is an adhesion promoter suitable for preparing metal, galvanised metal, concrete or hollow clay block elements for the spraying of F62 SUPER SPRAY fire-protection plasters.

Characteristics

Primer in water dispersion, used for the preparation of substrates of various kinds such as concrete, ordinary plaster, galvanised sheet metal and pre-painted sheet metal. It ensures the adhesion of subsequently applied products as it regulates the water absorption of the substrates, evens out the drying of premixed gypsum-based plasters, counteracts the appearance of efflorescence and improves the adhesion of insulating plasters and fire-protection paints on smooth concrete or pre-painted sheet metal surfaces.

Composition

APEO-free product formulated with acrylic resins in water dispersion and selected fillers.

Use

- If used as a sealer, the plaster must be applied after at least 4 hours. - If used as a bonding agent, the plaster must be applied while the product is still wet (maximum time 20-30 min).

Brush, Roller, Spray with air-operated machine.

The specification data were determined at +23°C with an ambient relative humidity of 65%. Under different conditions, the data and the times between one operation and the next are subject to variation. The technical information provided is indicative only.
