NOTE: it is possible to suspend loads such as light fittings and accessories up to a maximum of 5 kg per hanger centres of 1,5 metres.

*Test reports with assessment of the critical temperature on the tie rod according to Eurocode 3, class 4 sections (T≤ 350°C).

Specification clause

Supply and installation of protection for steel tie rods with fire resistance R 30/120 certified on bars with a diameter from 16 to 30 mm (*). The protection will be made with “T-REX / S 38” pre-formed shells consisting of a mixture based on calcium silicates, covered with galvanised steel sheet metal 0,25 mm thick, in accordance with test report I.G. 355341. The pre-formed shells will be applied with staggered joints and wrapped with sheet metal

fixed with phosphated self-drilling screws at 200 mm centres. The supply will include the specific “T-REX / S 38” turnbuckle covers. For application procedures, see the specific “installation manual”. NOTE: (*) extensions to larger diameters are possible.
