Specification clause

Supply and installation of a self-supporting floor slab, with fire resistance REI 120, made with one FIREGUARD® 13 board per side, thickness 12,7 mm, maximum dimensions 1200x2000 mm, composed of calcium silicates and sulphates, asbestos-free, produced by lamination with factory-controlled drying, in reaction-to-fire class A1 (non-combustible), in accordance with classification report I.G. 253656/3113FR.

The boards shall be fixed with phosphated self-drilling screws, diam. 3,5 mm, length 35 mm, at 200 mm centres, to 75x50x1 mm “C” metal profiles arranged back to back at 400 mm centres, inserted into 75x50x1 mm “U” tracks. A rock mineral wool blanket, thickness 60 mm, density 80 kg/m³, shall be placed in the cavity. The joints and screw heads shall be finished with FIREGUARD COMPOUND filler.
