SERVICES ENCLOSURE - EXTERNAL FIRE

Supply and installation of protection for horizontal service ducts, maximum width 550 mm, with EI 120 (a←b) fire resistance, made with three FIREGUARD® 13 boards, thickness 3x12,7 mm, composed of calcium silicates and sulphates, asbestos-free, produced by lamination with factory-controlled drying, in reaction-to-fire Class A1 (non-combustible), in accordance with classification report I.G. 308030/3563FR and Technical File 399954. The boards will be laid with staggered joints and fixed with phosphated

self-drilling screws, diameter 3,5 mm, length 25 mm for the inner layer, length 35 mm for the intermediate layer and length 55 mm for the outer layer, placed at 250 mm centres, to a supporting framework composed of “L” angle profiles, dimensions 50x50x0,6 mm, placed at the internal longitudinal corners of the protection. These profiles will be fixed to the floor slab with metal expansion anchors, diameter 6 mm, placed at 500 mm centres. For installation procedures, refer to the specific “installation manual”.
