SERVICES ENCLOSURE - EXTERNAL / INTERNAL FIRE

Supply and installation of protection for horizontal services, dim. maximum width 1000 mm, with fire resistance EI 120 (i↔o), made with FIREGUARD® 45 boards, thk. 45 mm, max dimensions 1200x2000 mm, made of calcium silicates, asbestos-free, approved in reaction-to-fire class A1 (non-combustible), in accordance with classification report I.G. 307804/3561FR. The boards will be glued with FIREGUARD GLUE adhesive and fixed with phosphated self-drilling screws Ø 4,5 mm, length 90 mm. The board

joints will be covered with a strip of FIREGUARD® S, thk. 8 mm and width 100 mm, fixed with phosphated self-drilling screws diam. 3,5 mm, length 35 mm, and glued with FIREGUARD GLUE adhesive. The protection will be fixed to the floor slab by means of a supporting framing made of “L” angle profiles measuring 50x50x0,6 mm positioned at the upper internal longitudinal corners. These profiles will be fixed to the floor slab using metal expansion anchors diameter 6 mm at 500 mm centres. For application procedures, see the specific “installation manual”
