SERVICES ENCLOSURE - EXTERNAL / INTERNAL FIRE

Supply and installation of protection for horizontal service ducts, maximum width 1000 mm, with EI 120 (i↔o) fire resistance, made with FIREGUARD® 45 boards, thk. 45 mm, maximum dimensions 1200x2000 mm, composed of calcium silicates, asbestos-free, certified in reaction-to-fire Class A1 (non-combustible), in accordance with classification report I.G. 307804/3561FR. The boards will be bonded with FIREGUARD GLUE adhesive and fixed with phosphated self-drilling screws, diameter 4,5 mm, length 90 mm. The joints of the

boards will be covered with a strip of FIREGUARD® S, thk. 8 mm and width 100 mm, fixed with phosphated self-drilling screws, dia. 3,5 mm, length 35 mm, and bonded with FIREGUARD GLUE adhesive. The protection will be fixed to the floor slab by means of a supporting framework composed of “L” angle profiles, dim. 50x50x0,6 mm, placed at the upper internal longitudinal corners. These profiles will be fixed to the floor slab with metal expansion anchors, diameter 6 mm, placed at 500 mm centres. For installation procedures, refer to the specific “installation manual”
