HATCH FOR MASONRY WALLS EI 120 “GB-EI 120 MURATURA”

Supply and installation of ACCESS HATCH “GB-EI 120 MURATURA”, with fire resistance EI 120 certified on masonry walls, including the side trim that allows perfect integration with the supporting wall. Installation shall be carried out in accordance with classification report I.G. 331596/3771FR. Fix the brackets (2 per side) at a distance of 53 mm from the edge of the wall. Use plugs appropriate to the structure of the wall. Place the outer frame of the hatch in contact with the

brackets and fix it with phosphated self-drilling screws. Insert the double layer of strips to fill the space between the wall and the frame profile (2 or 3 screws per side). Fill the joints using a glass fibre reinforcing mesh at least 20 cm wide, weighing min. 160 g/m², embedded in a flexible cement-based skim coat. Complete the skimming of the perimeter surface of the opening and then clean the hatch frame of any residues that could impair its operation.
