“GB-PAINT” is a single-component water-based intumescent paint based on synthetic resins, dark grey in colour, designed for the reinstatement of the fire resistance of rigid walls, flexible walls (plasterboard) and floor slabs when they are penetrated by uninsulated non-combustible pipes up to a diameter of 219 mm; single cables or cable bundles up to a diameter of 100 mm. In the event of fire, the coating created with “GB-PAINT” paint swells under the influence of temperature, creating an insulating layer.
