HORIZONTAL SMOKE EXTRACTION DUCTS “FIREGUARD® DUCT” boards

“U”-shaped metal profiles (40x20x0,55 mm) at 416 mm maximum centres. The board joints will be covered with strips of FIREGUARD® DUCT, thickness 30 mm and width 300 mm, fixed with phosphated self-drilling screws Ø 5 mm, length 60 mm, at 250 mm centres and glued with FIREGUARD GLUE. At the joint, spacers 150 mm wide will be inserted at the longitudinal members. In horizontal runs the ducts will rest on an “L”-shaped profile, dimensions 50x50x5 mm, at 1150 mm centres, fixed to the floor slab with threaded bars Ø 16 mm.

Supply and installation of horizontal smoke extraction ducts with EI 120 (ho i↔o) S 1500 multi fire resistance, made with FIREGUARD® DUCT boards, thickness 30 mm, maximum dimensions 1200x2300 mm, in fibre cement, asbestos-free, in reaction-to-fire class A1 (non-combustible), in conformity with Applus classification report 13/7092-2931 part. 2 with CE marking EN 12101-7. The boards must be glued with FIREGUARD GLUE and fixed with phosphated self-drilling screws Ø 5 mm, length 60 mm, at 200 mm centres.
