Supply and installation of penetration protection for CORRUGATED COMBUSTIBLE PIPES with fire resistance EI 120 certified on masonry and plasterboard walls, consisting of INTUMESCENT WRAP “GB-T”, nominal section 40x2 mm, and semi-rigid “GB- P” PANELS in mineral fibre (density 150 kg/m³), thickness 60 mm, treated on both sides with a layer of fire-protective coating, in accordance with classification reports I.G. 380080/4093FR and I.G. 380081/4094FR. It is necessary to wrap the intumescent wrap around the group

of pipes on both sides with the specified number of turns (see table). Measure the dimensions and shape of both the opening to be sealed and the penetrating pipes, transfer them onto the “GB-P” panels and cut them using site handsaws or a utility knife, taking care to leave the cut-out slightly oversized with respect to the dimensions of the opening to be sealed. Apply the firestop sealant “GB-MT” to the sides of the cut-out. Insert the panel by “interference” fit and smooth over the joints with a spatula using the “GB-MT” sealant.
