Supply and installation of protection for penetrations of corrugated conduits containing electrical cables with certified EI 120 fire resistance in floor slabs, consisting of “GB-P” semi-rigid mineral fibre panels (density 150 kg/mc) 60 mm thick, treated on both sides with a layer of fire-protection coating, and intumescent wrap “GB-T”, nominal section 40x2 mm, in accordance with classification report I.G. 392776/4208FR. It is necessary to protect the corrugated conduits by wrapping the intumescent wrap

“GB-T” 3 turns around the conduit, inside the opening and flush with the underside of the floor slab. Then measure the dimensions and shape of the opening to be sealed, transfer them onto the panel and cut it, and apply a small amount of firestop sealant “GB-MT” to the sides of the cut-out or directly onto the inner edge of the floor slab. Insert the panel sections into the opening with an “interference” fit, both on the underside and on the top side, and skim the joints with a spatula using the firestop sealant “GB-MT”.
