SERVICE DUCT - EXTERNAL FIRE

Supply and installation of protection for horizontal service ducts with EI 120 (ho i←o) fire resistance, made with two FIREGUARD® 13 boards, thickness 2x12,7 mm, composed of calcium silicates and sulphates, asbestos-free, produced by lamination with factory-controlled drying, in reaction-to-fire Class A1 (non-combustible), in accordance with classification report I.G. 290044/3368FR and Technical File 399953. The boards will be bonded with FIREGUARD GLUE adhesive and fixed with phosphated self-drilling screws, diameter 3 5 mm, length 35 mm, at centres

placed vertically at 550 mm centres along the vertical walls of the duct and along the internal lower longitudinal centreline of the bottom wall of the duct. The joints of the vertical boards will be covered with a strip of FIREGUARD® S, thickness 1x8 mm and width 100 mm, on all 4 sides, fixed with phosphated self-drilling screws, diameter 3,5 mm, length 35 mm, at 250 mm centres, and bonded with FIREGUARD GLUE adhesive. The cladding will rest on an “L” profile, dim. 60x60x4 mm, placed at 1100 mm centres and fixed to the floor slab with threaded rods, diameter 14 mm
