GLOBAL BLOCK is a pre-moulded intumescent foam block for the fire compartmentation of penetrations of electrical cables, telecommunications cables, optical fibres, combustible and non-combustible pipes in concrete, aerated concrete or masonry walls; plasterboard walls and floor slabs. The “GLOBAL BLOCK” INTUMESCENT BRICKS can be installed within the opening with staggered joints, as in an ordinary masonry wall. The areas affected by the penetrations and any perimeter infill areas of the opening can be filled using the “GLOBAL FOAM” TWO-COMPONENT FOAM or the VACUUM-PACKED “GLOBAL BLOCK” BRICK. The “GLOBAL BLOCK” BRICKS can be cut with an ordinary knife. The “GLOBAL BLOCK” BRICKS can be overpainted. Use: perimeter sealing of multiple penetrations treated with “GLOBAL BLOCK” INTUMESCENT BRICKS Description: GLOBAL BLOCK SOTTOVUOTO is a pre-moulded intumescent foam block for the fire compartmentation of penetrations of electrical cables, telecommunications cables, optical fibres, combustible and non-combustible pipes. Its special vacuum-packed configuration allows it to be used for the perimeter sealing of openings treated with “GLOBAL BLOCK” INTUMESCENT BRICKS. Simply insert the sealed package into the gap and cut the package open. The brick will expand to its original dimensions, closing off the opening.
