PENETR. OF INSULATED NON-COMBUSTIBLE PIPES

Supply and installation of universal fire collar for INSULATED COPPER PIPES “GLOBAL COLLAR PLUS” without fixing tabs, with fire resistance up to EI 120 C/U certified on masonry or plasterboard walls, consisting of a metal shell made of steel sheet with a nominal sec. of 40x30x0,5 mm containing a graphite-based intumescent seal with a nominal section of 40x2 mm each, in accordance with ETA 23/0843.

The collar will be fixed to the wall on the fire-exposed side only with phosphated self-drilling screws in the number indicated in the table, without the need for threaded rods. For masonry walls, use turbo screws without anchor plugs. Before installing the collar, the remaining voids/joints between the wall and the penetrating pipe can be filled with “GB-MT” sealant, or alternatively with dimensionally stable non-combustible material such as concrete, cement mortar or gypsum mortar.
