GLOBAL FOAM is a two-component firestop foam with a high expansion capacity for the fire compartmentation of penetrations of electrical cables, telecommunications cables, optical fibres, combustible and non-combustible pipes in concrete, aerated concrete or masonry walls; lightweight (plasterboard) walls and floor slabs. The “GLOBAL FOAM” TWO-COMPONENT FOAM can be easily applied using the special gun, taking care to fill the opening starting from the back and working forwards, and from the bottom upwards. Thanks to its high viscosity it is easy to apply without sagging. Once dry, any residues can be removed with a knife. Any cables or pipes installed at a later stage can be routed through the foam; in addition, the “GLOBAL FOAM” TWO-COMPONENT FOAM can be used together with the “GLOBAL BLOCK” INTUMESCENT BRICKS where the opening has large areas free of services.
