PENETRATIONS OF COMBUSTIBLE PIPES

Supply and installation of fire collar for COMBUSTIBLE PIPES WITH OR WITHOUT INSULATION “GLOBAL COLLAR PLUS” without fixing tabs, with fire resistance up to EI 120 U/C certified on floor slabs, consisting of a metal shell made of steel sheet with a nominal section of 40x30x0,5 mm containing a graphite-based intumescent seal with a nominal section of 40x2 mm, in accordance with ETA 23/0843. It is necessary to measure the diameter of the pipe to be protected and wrap the intumescent wrap around the pipe itself

(see table), securing it with adhesive tape; break off the metal sheet at the length indicated for each diameter (see table) and wrap it around the intumescent seal, clamping the two ends with a self-drilling screw. Fix the collar to the floor slab with turbo screws without using anchor plugs. Before installing the collar, the remaining voids between the wall and the penetrating pipe can be filled with “GB-MT” sealant, or alternatively with dimensionally stable non-combustible material such as concrete, cement mortar or gypsum mortar.
