The “GB-ML” SLEEVES FOR NON-COMBUSTIBLE PIPES are cooling mats suitable for the insulation of non-combustible pipes, consisting of a felt based on high-density mineral wools, non-combustible and resistant to very high temperatures. Metal pipes (steel, copper, etc.) are in fact excellent conductors, capable of transferring large amounts of heat, and therefore high temperatures, from a hot zone to a cold one, especially when their dimensions exceed 90 mm. In the event of fire, the temperature of a pipe passing through a fire wall can become so high, even in the unexposed zone, as to be dangerous, above all because of radiation phenomena. The high temperature can also cause unwanted combustion of materials resting against the pipe affected by the thermal phenomenon. The “GB-ML” SLEEVES FOR NON-COMBUSTIBLE PIPES are insulating mats capable of thermally insulating a metal pipe up to a temperature of 1000°C.
